Met Her At A Bar | Los Angeles, CA
Storytime. The owner of Met Her At A Bar did just that, he met his future wife at a bar. In the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, these two single strangers found themselves in one of the many bars LA has to offer. After catching his eye, Vincent knew he needed to meet Mindy. After a couple drinks, he finally got the courage to introduce himself. Unfortunately, his introduction didn’t land him a number. Luckily for him, social media exists and he stalked her and eventually, the two fell in love and opened Met Her At A Bar.
That morning my mans asked me what I wanted and I told him waffles and he 🙂 gave 🙂 me 🙂 so 🙂 many 🙂 WAFFLES. Met Her At The Bar has a whole section on their menu called “Her Waffles” and its literally just so many types of waffles. You want it savory? They got savory. You want sweet? They got sweet. You want a sandwich? THEY GOT THAT TOO.
Between the two of us, we ordered two savory plates and split a sweet waffle as well. As hard as I try, I can never pass up a good eggs benedict. My other half ordered a Berry Happy Breakfast that came with a waffle with berries, eggs, sausage, and bacon. I am glad they offer half orders of some of the waffles because I am not too sure if we would’ve ordered another full ass waffle. Nutella waffle with strawberries and bananas accompanied our savory waffles.
O h m y G O S H. Everything was so good. Light and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Although my eggs benedict was served on a waffle, it never got soggy. To my delight, they passed the eggs benny test. They tasted as good as they looked. I am just so PLEASED with every aspect. Just such sweetness. Between the whipped cream and the berries, the Nutella wasn’t overpowering at all.
They recently got their liquor license so expect me to BE DRANKIN’ there starting the next week.
