Grits | Fullerton, California
Another day, another brunch spot. Over the holiday weekend (Chinese New Year woot woot) I went back home to Covina. After extensive research on Yelp, I was excited to try out Grits located in Fullerton.
I had ordered the Pork Belly “Benny” which is thick cut pork belly, jalapeño grits, poached eggs, pipits, and toast points. Ohmygosh it was so good. The pork belly was nice and tender and full of flavor. Okay.. A lot of places, believe it or not, can’t poach an egg. Being a Benedict junkie, I come across a lot of poached eggs. A lot of overcooked poached eggs, unfortunately. BUT, the people at Grits did not disappointment. Everything about my meal was perfect. If you put some egg, some pork, grits, on top of the toast; life changing.
My friend had ordered the biscuits and gravy. Equally as good.
Highly recommend checking out this cute restaurant! Its in walking distance within a couple coffee shops and little stores.
