Burger Joint | Paris, France
Do you remember the scene in Elf where Buddy starts cheering the best cup of coffee??? Well, that’s how I feel about this burger. “Best in town” is modest. They need to tell the world that they have mastered the art of the burger.
The gist:
- I went by myself, Monday night around 8pm. I was immediately seated.
- Since they don’t accept reservations, securing a table can be a bit of a gamble.
- I’d recommend it for smaller groups. While you can order outside at a window, there’s no seating available.
- I ordered the BBQ burger with a Corona.
- This was, hands down, the best burger I’ve ever had.
- The staff was exceptionally friendly.
Bonjour! I had the pleasure of exploring Paris for the first time last week, and let me tell you, every meal smacked. I’m thrilled to share my recommendations, starting with the most delicious burger I’ve ever had.
It was my first night in Paris. Exhausted from a red-eye flight and a full day of exploring, I desperately needed a meal that would send me into a food coma. It had to be filling, and it had to hit the spot. My very talented friend and Paris local, Ginny, gave me tons of great recommendations, including Burger Joint. Navigating their public transportation system was a breeze, and I reached there in no time from the Eiffel Tower.
It was love at first bite. Not to sound dramatic but I felt life come back into my body. Ratio went crazy. With each bite you’re met with melted cheese, juicy meat, crispiness from the onions and lettuce, and happiness. Most importantly, my burger didn’t fall apart when I ate it. A perfect score in my books. Fries were crispy, thick, and seasoned. I appreciated the readily available array of sauces they had. I did accidentally spray my beer in my face but that’s another story lmao.
Without a shadow of a doubt, this was hands down the best burger that I’ve ever eaten. Ever. There’s no competition. Did the it excitement of a traveling to a new city have anything to do with it? Perhaps. Did it just hit the spot after a long day? Most definitely.
Regardless of the wait, I’ll be sure to visit during my next trip to Paris.
